Clarissa Eden, the second wife of British actor William (tbc) Eden, died Monday after a brief illness.

A “British Countess and political influencer” turned CNN producer, Eden also appeared in the Mel Brooks films “Blazing Saddles” and “Young Frankenstein.”

Eden’s internet presence began in the mid-1990s when she created her blog, which showed her passion for English history and politics.

Eden later founded a political consultancy that specializes in film, television and digital, according to The Telegraph.

Author and historian Hal Spence was at Eden’s side for much of her life, telling the Independent that she had the “enthusiasm of [an] 18-year-old.”

“She was witty, raunchy, all the time. We used to switch on ‘The Great British Bake Off’ together,” Spence told the publication.

Eden had attended Oxford University and later worked as a journalist with the Sunday Times before marrying British actor and director William Eden.

William, a skilled director who enjoyed political drama, played Maestro in “Blazing Saddles” and Count Ferdinand in “Young Frankenstein.”

Twitter erupted in celebration Wednesday following her death.
