We first reported in May that President Trump would soon be releasing a photo book. This morning, publisher Henry Holt has come out with a bit more detail on what the book will look like, and it looks like it will let Trump crow about his accomplishments over time. On a conference call, Richard Hughes, the chairman and chief executive of Henry Holt & Co., said that the book would not be a collection of pictures or an actual photo album, but would be a series of four “oral histories” released over time.
The first photo book is called “A New American History” and will be out July 10. Mr. Hughes also said that, not unexpectedly, Mr. Trump had made corrections to some of the photographs that had been used in the book. “He has concerns about his appearance in some of the pictures,” Mr. Hughes said.
Beyond the photos, Mr. Hughes said that the photos would be accompanied by a 14-page bibliography, which would explain some of the events and people that were captured by the pictures. The bibliography will be published along with the book, Mr. Hughes said.
